On October 17, 2023, H.E. Ahmed bin Issa Al-Mohannadi, President of the General Tax Authority (GTA), joined a distinguished gathering of Excellencies and dignitaries to participate in the opening ceremony of the Entrepreneurship for Sustainability & Impact (ESI) 6th International Conference. The event enjoys the esteemed patronage of H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. The conference was hosted by the Center for Entrepreneurship & Organizational Excellence (CEOE) at the College of Business and Economics at Qatar University.  

The conference, organized under the theme "Tackling Grand Challenges for a Sustainable Future" aims to facilitate collaboration, promote the exchange of knowledge in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation, and bridge the gap between the academic community and policymakers. Its core mission is to contribute to the development of policies capable of effectively addressing today’s intricate economic, social, and environmental challenges. The GTA's participation reflects its commitment to fortifying partnerships with renowned academic institutions and highlights its key role in championing the advancement of a sustainable economy. It is worth nothing that the Entrepreneurship for Sustainability & Impact (ESI) is an annual conference organized by the College of Business and Economics at Qatar University.
